My Bookbusters TBR

September was a terrible month of reading for me. I barely got anything read so I am super excited for all the October readathons and plan to hit them hard.

The first readathon of the month is #Bookbusters hosted by Elena Reads Books. It is a bingo style challenge with activities as well.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books With Hot Characters on the Cover

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Characters Freebie. I'm choosing Top Ten Books With Hot Characters on the Cover.

I have not read all of these so I don't know if the cover image matches the actual character description but I've been looking for an excuse to do cover eye candy for awhile now. I'll note which books I have read.

1. Easy by Tammara Webber

2. Lick by Kylie Scott

3. Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James (Read)

4. The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (Read)

5. Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris (Read)

6. Dear John by Nicholas Sparks (Read)

7. Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion (Read)

8. The Martian by Andy Weir (Read)

9. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

Top Ten Tuesday: Throwback! Top Ten Books I Loved the First Years I Was Blogging

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Throwback Freebie. I'm choosing Top Ten Books I Loved the First Years I Was Blogging.

My blog has gone through some name and url changes since I first started it. Because of this, I thought I had lost the list of all the books I have read from when I started blogging in 2010 but thanks to the Wayback Machine it was not lost! However, it appears I only blogged about 8 books that year so I'll have to include some from 2011 too to complete the list.*

*Hmmm...now that I look at the list I realize I wasn't wowed by many 2011 books...so let's include 2012 too.
