NEWTs Readathon 2018 TBR

It's 3 am and the NEWTs Readathon started 3 hours ago but I finally got my TBR finished.

What is the NEWTs Readathon? The NEWTs Readathon is a Harry Potter themed readathon. NEWTs stands for Nasty Exhausting Wizarding Tests. This readathon is the sequel to the OWLs Readathon and is hosted by Magical Readathon. You can see the Youtube announcement here and the reading challenges can be found here

During the OWLs Readathon I completed five subjects which included Astronomy, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, The History of Magic, and Transfiguration. That means I can only choose the reading challenges for those subjects.

At minimum I need to read 4 books in two subjects to complete the challenge. This means I need to read all 3 books in one challenge to get the grade Outstanding and one book in another subject to get Acceptable. My goal is to get outstanding in two subjects. There's books I really want to read in all five subjects and there's books I'm pretty meh about.

My kids are two weeks from starting school (I'm a 42 year old single mom) so while everything is pretty crazy getting ready for school, I expect to have a lot of reading time around the 13th so should be able to easily complete this challenge.

On top of it is the last month of my own reading challenge Fun In the Sun Reading Challenge. I kind of failed my own challenge but I'm hoping to make up for it in this last month. I will be creating a Fall reading challenge so be on the lookout for that. It will start on September. I will be creating a Halloween reading challenge as well for October.

I will update my NEWTs Readathon progress on my Twitter so please follow me there to find out how I do!
